What is the difference between a regular post and a sponsored post?

The regular post refers to a publication that will be made organically in your Instagram feed and will be seen by those who follow you, without having to pay anything on the Instagram platform.

The sponsored publication refers to a publication that you either posted first on your feed and decided to promote it (boost post) or you created a new advertisement that does not appear at all in your feed, but is “thrown” into the home page or the stories, both of these who follow you as well as those who don’t. What’s not allowed in Instagram ads?
